By Baptism…If a person professes faith in the Savior, Jesus Christ, and desires to pattern his life after Christ’s teachings as understood by our church, then the church may receive that person as a candidate for baptism after the manner of our Lord.

By Letter…If a person is a Baptist and has been baptized by immersion in another Baptist Church, this church may accept that person as a member by receiving a letter of certification from the former church.

By Statement…Joining our church by statement is possible under one of the following conditions:

(1) If it is not possible to obtain a letter of certification from the Baptist Church from which one’s membership is being transferred.

(2) If a person from another denomination had previously been Baptist, or

(3) If one has been baptized by immersion in a church of another denomination, provided that church is of similar faith and doctrine and the baptism followed a salvation experience based on faith in Jesus Christ as Savior.

*Upon completion of the new member’s class, a person officially becomes a member of the church.
